Alot of the recurring characters have been on numerous scifi shows before... that's how they keep the production so cheap... Also it's filmed in canada...

Yeah, I just looked this up and saw it is a Canadian production (that's been airing since October). I guess Netflix won its streaming rights. I don't usually watch Canadian productions because they are cheaply made (all the Syfy stuff).

nah B, some of these canadian syfy shows be official, look into Continuum... story was badass... time travel, paradoxes, alternate realities and terrorism, it was good shyt. The reason alot of shyt is filmed up there is because they get TONS of tax breaks and incentives, tons of local talent and the locations are very diverse.

Well The OC has one of my fav up and coming white bishes in Marling. I wouldn't say they're all unknowns. Just a lot of people from somewhat smaller productions. Some people about to get their break
