Traditional bridal marriage vow "....to love, cherish and OBEY......"

I was at a wedding over the weekend and the following vow was read and repeated by the wife

"Bride: I,_____, take thee,_____, to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death us do part,"

I found it interesting for a few reasons, one of which being how alot of women today seem to have a problem with a subservient position in their relationships, "this a partnership.....". So, to the ladies with the partnership mindset, would you take this vow or would you insist that it be removed?

My bad I didn't read the entire post I thought he was saying women should be obedient and serve their husbands.
