it’s the principal of the matter at hand

workers are thrown out on their asses out of the blue with nothing to show for it but stress and a bad back and rent due

meanwhile the wealthy cacs are kicking back dumping the spoils of their labor into the trust funds of their children who will never have to work a day in their life

fukk that

fight however for what is yours.

Divide 20 million by 30 thousand.

Then realize that you didn't even take the lawyer's cut yet:huhldup:

They should have had the forethought to plan for possible layoffs. :troll:

If that's what you want to believe.

The writing was on the wall for the future of Toys R us way before the bankruptcy. It only came out of the blue to people who didn't care to know what was going on.

these types of employees don’t have that kind of access let alone resources to get involved in the decision making of the stores they work at.

in a better, at the least fairer world, yes, you would go to work, do your tasks and then go about to actually living your life

the key would being as a worker you’d have some form of collective bargaining to ensure you’d be able to keep your job against growing fukk shyt like this

So what you're saying is that if you work for a company that you shouldn't be concerned with the future of the company? Just go to work and live your life?

You're basically saying that the average citizen is more informed of how well a company is doing financially than a company worker. It's not like Toys R us was making money all day everyday and filed for bankruptcy out of the blue. They were losing money and then borrowed money and kept losing money. This was over the span of years not days.

If you stay on a sinking ship that's your fault.
