I've seen it more than I'd like to admit, but it's a ..."decent" movie...

and speaking of brett ratner, how does he keep getting work. the rush hour movies he did were terrible. xmen 3 was terrible and so was tower heist. how does he keep getting big movie gigs.

his movies are least profitable. they just aren't good.

I thought it was funny at the time, not funny enough for me to rewatch it multiple times or some shyt, but I think a lot of people thought it was "trash" because they hype extra expectations on anything Eddie Murphy does, so he's going to have to exceed expectations to get credit... "just funny" isn't going to cut it. I can't see somebody legitimately calling it "trash" because no way do you sit through that movie and at least not laugh out loud multiple times.
