New York Yankees' Derek Jeter leads MLB jersey sales for third straight year - ESPN
For the third straight season, baseball fans bought more Derek Jeter jerseys than any other.
Major League Baseball's jersey sales ranking list came out Monday and there were few surprises.
Jeter led three New York Yankees in the top 10, while hot young phenoms jumped to the top of the list, which reflects sales of Majestic jerseys since the All-Star break.
Jeter was followed by Texas Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton and the new Yankees jersey of Ichiro Suzuki, who was traded from the Seattle Mariners on July 23.
The rankings marked the third time the sales figures have been released. Jeter also led the 2010 and 2011 lists.
