So I was watching Hackers, and someone mentioned that kt was a top 5 of the 90s. I was like no fukking way. So I made a list of what I think arw the top 5. Not my favorites, but the ones I think made an impact and have strong lasting power.

In no order

Pulp Fiction
Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
Boyz n The Hood
The Matrix

I kinda feel like the nineties were never good enough to in totality. To talk about them.
past the overly great indie style outlier style directors.
In the nineties you had to be excellent at digging in the crate of everything. That the experience to unearth the movies. gets lost as the main draw of what made the nineties is subculture.
In the star wars is still in the theater era. The movies were bettee because the one greatest indie anything ever in star wars. Forced the movie houses to be great and fail. As opposed to the nineties. That commercialized level of b*stardized commercialization to fail was so trash. As well as so far down the proverbial rabbit hole.
That the nineties was all about being bboy. Or a master of subculture.
So people who taut the nineties I feel are people who were not there. Trying to subscribe to a hiphop culture aesthetic. That comes off toy like to a real bboy like moi.


As I know most of the nineties commentary are from people who were not there. Trying to fake as some purveyor of cool. They were never present for.

The nineties were to robust in subculture. To have a definitive top five with no clear favorites.

Nineties are not formative or dope movie wise.
to cause this type of nostalgia for me.

On tv programming >>>>> cable and internet
