its been over ten years since smart phones hit the skreet. just picked up my new samsung galaxy s9 plus today and i kinda feel underwhelmed . don't get me wrong, the new phone is great, but i really didn't need to upgrade from my s7 edge which did wonders for me the last two years. its just my s7 edge screen is cracked to bolivia but i just don't feel like paying to fix it. will prolly sell it locally for cheap.
anyways here are my top 3...
1. htc one m7 (og) - still the goat phone experience for me . had it from 2013 to 2015 and it was just an amazing experience. goat build quality, goat speakers, good dac and good screen. camera was decent and phone reception was ok.
2. galaxy s7 edge - easily the most aesthetically pleasing phone i ever owned. owned from 2016 til now. great performance, great battery, fast charge is life changing. only negatives for me were that the speakers were garbage and dac was disappointing.
3. iphone 3gs - first smart phone and only apple iphone i have ever owned. had it from 2009 to 2011 and it was amazing to use back in the day. its been so long that i kinda forgot what i loved or didnt like about the phone. i know i had a gang of music, some porn and a few games. i just got fukking tired of finding workarounds putting mp3 i downloaded into my library. been droid gang ever since
Smart phone history: iPhone 3gs > Samsung Galaxy S2 > HTC One M7 > HTC One M9 > Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge > Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
