Hey you got states in the Midwest and states like WV that a smaller population than NYC.

On another note im assuming Illinois has a decrease in population because it doesn’t attract as many immigrants compared to Cali and NY

CA, TX, Florida, and Ohio seem to have the most "balance" when it comes to population distribution among multiple cities/metropolitan areas.

Good to see Midwest states like Ill, Oh and Mich still in the top 10. Surprised quick growth sunbelt states like AZ, and NV haven't surpassed them yet. SUPER surprised NC and GA haven't at least passed Illinois and Ohio yet.

In that case it’s even worse for NYC cause he didn’t include the other millions who live in Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Long Island etc.

But I still think NY state is def way more populated than Illinois outside Chicago.

NV is literally 90% empty land. Mainly just Vegas and Reno for the most part.

California is the Black people of American states. I think AAs are closer to 14% of population now, but more or less .

I'm surprised Michigan's population is still about to break 10 million, even as Detroit city has been dropping population like crazy the last 10 - 15 years.

I swear NY has been hovering below 20 million since forever.
