I agree with this for the most part, the only reason I wouldn't switch 2 and 1 is because 2 isn't a weird hybrid of a remake and reboot/retelling.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is the gold standard of remakes.

Pretty good list. I'm surprised to see Zero Mission get its flowers, that was definitely one of the best remakes and Metroid games of all time. I honestly rank it even better than Super Metroid.

HGSS is great until you realize every single problem the originals had is still a thing in that game.

RE2 Remake...

I ain't gonna front, that's the best RE experience. Period.
