Tony Tubbs got robbed against Bowe

just finished watching. Tubbs put on a boxing clinic, Bowe wasn't impressive at all. Of course the young up coming fighter won because that's how boxing politics work. Tubbs was considered a washed fighter at that point and was tarnished by the Tyson KO so he was never going to get the benefit from judges.

perfect example of what i used to talk about with 80s heavyweights...they didn't lack in talent at all...if they did they would have never been able to wipe out their previous generation...they just fell victim to their vices but every now and then they pulled a rabbit out of their hat..like fight

prime Tony Tubbs might be the best heavyweight in the world right now. Don King destroyed a whole generation of heavyweights

Tim Witherspoon, Pinklon Thomas, even Mike Tyson didnt reach their full potential because of him.

Yeah Tubb's was underrated. I thought Bowe did enough to win even though Tubbs stepped it up the 2nd half of the fight/waited too late to throw combos consistently. Tubb's counter punching kept him in the fight the entire time though. That seemed to be an Achilles heel for Bowe throughout his career.

If Bowe would have stayed in that type of shape for his entire career he would have did much more imo/probably wouldn't have taken as much damage.
