if the Saudis started an international basketball league tomorrow like they did with LIV Golf, and any all star player left the NBA for the Saudi league because they got promised 75M a year, you don't think they'd get criticized by damn near every basketball fan for going somewhere with lesser competition? Golf fans pretty much universally hate all the PGA Tour members who left for LIV even though some of them got contracts in the ballpark of 300-400M

Pretty much every major star left for Liv except Tiger Woods So whoever criticizes them.... it's fine... at the end of the day, the PGA still had to come back to the table and strike a deal with them.

As far as what we know.... Every wrestler who has left claims to be making more money and people keep leaving for that bag so if you want to tell me 2 + 2 isn't 4 go ahead.... but we know TK is spending money out here. Here's my gripes....I noticed this weird trend involving billionaires like Khan and em, that does these super leagues and the product ends up being mediocre to trash.

They throw money instead of looking at the logic of the business itself.

Reminds me of my wife's old boss, who threw money at the situation (he was Saudi). Anywho, this dude did not give a single shyt about running the place, and he decided to expand . My wife had to tap out the moment he bullshyt her with the hours for her to become a Behavior Analyst therapist. He thought in his own sick mind that my wife was in it for the money, like most of the employees, but unlike him and them, she actually gave a shyt about the industry and want change.

most of the people that left for LIV were on the backside of their career so it was their one final big payday, the only real relevant golfers they stole were:

Brooks Koepka who was coming off a major knee surgery/injury at the time and thought his career might be over so he took the guaranteed money

Bryson DeChambeau who was hated by everybody on Tour and pretty much likes making YouTube videos more than competing in non-majors

Jon Rahm took the payday because he thought it would force PGA and LIV to come together quicker but we are still here over a year later and they haven't figured out how the fukk they are gonna try and make it work

the TV ratings LIV does on the CW would be insulting for Impact let alone WWE or AEW
