That might hit if I didn't take Buffalo -6.5 before the game even started. I'm a fan but I'm also smart enough to know they ain't doing shyt with all those injuries.

So their loss only meant more money in my pocket :manny: Try again Beard..

AEW is now more profitable than WCW ever was and that's a fact. Let the beards in here tell it :mjlol: He's not trolling anyone, just a failed promoter with an ax to grind. :mjlol:

If you're not bringing facts then don't bother lmao keep circle jerking each other
The comparison is misleading because it's not considering the vastly different market conditions each company competed in, the industry dynamics at the time, and how WCW's profitability was built during a much different media landscape. Even considering that, he brought the WWF/E to their knees. That gives him better insight on these things than laymen and outsiders like Meltzer.

They had a hot angle with the nWo (which they lifted from Japan) but the real reason why WWF was in trouble is because of the steroid trial and all the bad publicity they had since 1991 and not replacing any of their stars afterwards, they only had Bret and Shawn and then bums... They compounded their issues with terrible booking and terrible gimmick ideas that were no longer going to work because the kids from the Hogan era got older and thought it was corny.

$70M in losses is mindboggling no matter the era.... That was his fault. TNA losing all the steam they had built up under their originals was also his fault with terrible creative direction and once again betting on Hogan..

AEW is now more profitable than any of Eric's promotions ever were.... that's a fact.

Sure, $70M in losses is shocking, but it's also essential to recognize that under Eric Bischoff, WCW went from being a money-losing afterthought to dominating the industry. Nobody else managed to take down WWF during their prime. Dismissing his accomplishments because the nWo concept originated elsewhere is unfair, especially given we're talking about Pro-Wrestling. What really matters though, is execution, and Bischoff made it work on a scale that changed the wrestling landscape forever. Comparing WCW's success in the 90s to AEW today without considering the overall picture is reductive. Bischoff's success wasn't just about profit, it was about reshaping the business. We don't have to downplay that. There is merit to what he's saying.

I agree with some of your points but we are still talking about $70M in losses in one year which essentially ran them out of business and you haven't even touched on what he and Hogan did to TNA after....

That's two promotions he put in the dirt. If we are measuring positives vs. negatives.... the negatives won like a muthafukka
