Just say you’re scared and don’t wanna talk about it. Don’t hide behind some illusion of legality. What possible legal issue could it be that could prevent you from answering the question? There is none.

Can't or won't? He knew this question was coming. Least he could've done was tell them before the recording was on that he will not answer cm punk related questions

Seems like Tony overplayed his hand with the "firing for cause" thing.

I would like to start the conspiracy theory that Trips and Punk were in cahoots this whole time and Punk been trying to get fired for a while.

shyt lined up too perfectly for WWE. Khan got played like a fiddle. Trips/WWE playing 4d chess :wow:

I think he’s going to sue WWE. He won’t win but probably out of frustration he’s going to use his money to try to tie them up in some litigation for something petty like contract tampering or something. Remember Punk was there backstage under contract a minute ago and he went on that rant about them reaching out to his guys while his mother was sick

I don't think he has a case at all and would be a waste of time and resources but that would be hilarious considering WWE never has to be concerned about the money someone else is bringing to the table and the Khans got the type of money to do whatever.

Khan fired Punk with cause, so he doesn't have a lawsuit unless there's a universal non-compete on Punk's contract (and there isn't, obviously, or he wouldn't be in WWE).

People have posted here how dumb Khan is not to negotiate a partial payoff of Punk's contract in exchange for a non-compete of at least 90 days. Might as well throw Punk a couple million to keep him off TV until early 2024.

Why? Of all of aews problems this has to be last on the list. If aew put on good shows no one would care.
