For me, WWE is like the MCU. Built around story and presentation, decent action sequences that can be great at times. lots of silly cheesiness and epic payoffs/moments that you remember for a lifetime.


The fringe style of wrestling that these people think everything needs to be are more like a John Wick style arthouse flick. Heavy on style, light on substance. Very basic story tropes and nonstop incredible action that keeps you wanting to see more as an action fan..

They’re all action films, but still completely different sub genres of action and that’s literally okay. This idea it should all be one way is so stupid to me. I can enjoy a kung fu flick like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Rush Hour separately without going “this Rush Hour movie needs to be more like crouching tiger”
