Honestly feel MJF has really worked himself out of being a super hot signing. Like he will get a pop. But I can't remember the last promo, angle he was in that I legit cared.

He’s definitely become change the channel status for me. Bad booking, bad promos, don’t really care for his matches anymore. I usually don’t fast forward promos but lately I’ve been doing that through his and whoever he’s in a program with promos

AEW has problems, Ricky Starks leaving isn't a huge one. He got a lot in AEW and was just moderately over. He could be a solid contributer in WWE but he's not gonna be another Cody

With the right presentation he'll be over in WWE right out the gate.

Cody had a cold 2021 before coming in to WWE in 2022 and was main event over on day 1. If you believe most of TSC, Cody actually sucked in AEW and just instantly became good when returning to WWE also.

At this point; Laveck is only getting ppl to keep them away from Tony, not actually push them to the top.

But, MJF would be the ultimate "haha, gotcha Tony" for WWE.

I don't think it's that, they probably see Starks as a solid NXT guy at worst and a Sami Zayn type main roster upper midcarder at best.

Most of AEW’s main event would be mid carders in WWE
