MILWAUKEE — Maryland Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley spoke more candidly than ever Saturday about the likelihood he will run for president in 2016 as he lamented “a crisis of confidence” facing the country.
“By the end of this year, we’re on course to have a body of work that lays the framework of the candidacy for 2016,” he told a handful of reporters over a beer in the Hilton bar here.
The term-limited governor, at his final National Governors Association meeting, noted that he has delivered a series of high-profile talks recently to flesh out the big issues he would build a run for the Democratic nomination around: a commencement at St. Mary’s College in Maryland, an address on climate change, a Center for American Progress speech about growing the middle class and a speech in Ireland.
O’Malley is cutting checks to “like-minded candidates” in Iowa and New Hampshire through his political action committee, which has also begun to ramp up its investment in online and social media.

not really sure if i like him, other than maryland finally getting on the national map. he's not the only inspiration for carcetti, btw, but he's a major one and he's very similar in his good guy/cunning politician demeanor.
also he was fukkin this black anchorwoman on the low. got her transferred to NYC in a mutual effort to keep the scandal from bubbling. you can catch her on nbc in ny, especially in the cabs. that's gonna get dug up for sure
edit: we also pay really high taxes in MD, so a rand paul/paul ryan type is gonna kill him with easy ammo for that. pretty good quality of life here outside of some parts of bmore and pieces of PG County (which is offset by how well other parts of PGC do), but then again bmore is exactly where he's out of so

In the past Sade Baderinwa was surrounded by scandal, it was about her affair and her boyfriend was Martin J. O’Malley, former mayor of Baltimore and was married. Later she became pregnant and it was obvious that the father of the unborn baby was O’Malley. It was also said that O’Malley’s wife was behind the road accident in which Sade was injured.
