He still had to deal with the self imposed sanctions when he got to Michigan, I think you are forgetting about that recruiting class he had coming in the year he got let go, many publications had it as a top 5 class once they added Alex Legion, he needed a little more time, I hope your are not happy with Beilien, dude creating average ass Big Ten teams.

Still got kept out of the tourney after losing one game playoff to a less talented team.
