The First "Jack Reacher" Trailer Arrives

Paramount Pictures has officially released the first trailer for "Jack Reacher", Christopher McQuarrie's upcoming film adaptation of Lee Child's novel "One Shot" which features Child's signature character Jack Reacher.

Of course the film has experienced quite a bit of controversy due to the hiring of the brunette 5'7" Tom Cruise to play the tough-as-nails, 6'5" blond giant and ex-military policeman.

The trailer won't make those doubts go away - if anything the combination of Cruise and the music would make one believe this is a more low-budget and low-key "Mission: Impossible" spin-off than anything.
