'Days of Thunder' is still a lot of fun. I watched it again last year. Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Robert Duvall, John C. Reilly, Michael Rooker, Cary Elwes, Randy Quaid, etc.

'Days of Thunder' is still a lot of fun. I watched it again last year. Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Robert Duvall, John C. Reilly, Michael Rooker, Cary Elwes, Randy Quaid, etc.

I don't recall when i watched it last. Had to be in the last couple of years. but, that was my takeaway as well. Deep cast, and better than I had remembered. Seeing how well he pulled off Top Gun 2, I can't laugh at him wanting to kick off a sequel to Days of Thunder.

One thing that makes the film great.. they used real racecars with real race footage. They raced the main cars at several NASCAR events to film footage and they used some legit products for sponsors. I'm assuming they received something back through advertising dollars.

CGI will never replace the real thing.

Considering the state of Nascar right now I’m sure they would be more ready to help.

Probably the only way to fill a race track would be for a fake Tom Cruise movie

tom skerritt = robert duvall
friend = now rival, but instead of dying he can't race no more
loses confidence then gains it back at the end
kelly mcgillis = nicole kidman, im sure he'll have a great time explaining why she aint in the sequel
