Had a chance to watch the highlights of the Super Bowl. What a game indeed! As for the final play that the Seattle offense made. I think its one of those plays to whereas I don't think Wilson was expecting Butler to make a break on the ball like that. I mean he just straight jumped the route so quickly. Of course it's easy to say that Lynch would've punched it in based on the stats he has in short yardage situations but at the same time, its not a guarantee. Its just a hell of a play that Butler made on the ball.

On the flip side, Tom Brady once again proves why he's one of the best if not the best quarterback in the game. He really put the team on his back and carried them to victory. If he wins one more Super Bowl, he's the greatest quarterback to play in the NFL, point blank period. Sh!t, the man went to 6 Super Bowls already so he's already an elite quarterback. I think what surprised me even more was the New England Patriots defense in the second half. I mean, they really held Seattle in check which gave the Patriots a fighting chance.

Overall, great game! I would love to see a rematch between these two teams as they both have the capabilities to make it back to the Super Bowl.

From Seahawks/Patriots Superbowl thread. They did the same thing to Falcons.

:ohhh:

Reed is a really smart dude, Thats a high volume of information to soak up, just on the Patriots offense, imagine 31 other qbs with varying game plans, formations, route combinations, personnel packages etc etc.

To be a high end all-pro caliber player, you have to be a borderline genius in one facet or another in this game,

I think most of the big game safeties are smart, but a lot of them had such tremendous athletic talent that it would wipe away a bad mental error, like ed, troy or saint sean, them dudes had a knack for reading the ball and anticipating plays but their athletic abilities covered them to, they could fukk around and bite on a pa and still get in the passing lane for a backside skinny post

Those two are on record multiple times praising Ed Reed. Only LT gets more respect from Belly.

Also, what Brady was describing is why some wideouts haven't cut it in NE even though look like they should. Multiple option route trees depending on each look and each adjustment Tom makes at the line.
