We all see it with our eyes but this is worse than I could have imagined. Turner was lightning this nikka the fukk up yesterday

We saw this yesterday in the fourth against Indiana. This is all time terrible defense

Now y'all see why Thibs never wanted to try Randle at the 5. :russ:

There lies the underlying issue. No replacement for what IHart brought to the table.

Quite underrated too was his passing. Was saying from day one that him leaving would be tough to overcome, which is why I was less enthusiastic about this season than a lot of people. Hopefully when the injured players come back we find something new.

Yeah, a lot of people in general it seems (even the media) have really undermined what IHart did.

This dude was basically a Point Center coming off the bench. The value in that is insane.

Mitch would fix all these problems if he comes back and starts. Ppl forget how elite he is. Kat can go back to the 4 and 5 out can go back to being situational. Unless we making a trade, our fate will be decided by a healthy Mitch
Then you defeat the purpose for this trade in the first place :francis:

He's unplayable at center, teams are putting empty gym type numbers on Towns. When rim protection is bad it affects perimeter defense too. Start Simms, Huk, OG, shyt anybody else at center.

Front office should've knew better tbh, but KAT can still play at the 5 situationally. I don't think a 5 out team is necessary to win a lot either; The Knicks last year showed that a lack of three point shooting can be made up for to a large extent with great screening, hard nosed defense and offensive rebounding.

I’m not gon wild out on a 9 game sample on this roster who has players out due to injury that impacts the team. That being said we have to play better in the paint (defensively) and close out games in the 4th.

We’ve lost our gritty defensive identity :francis:

I would honestly take a serious look about give Huk some minutes at the five next to Towns at least for like 8-10 minutes to see how things look

We did. That’s the trade off when you have KAT and lose IHart & Randle
