Today was the first time I ever walked into a Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop

its my nephews 17th birthday tomorrow. breh has alot white friends which he goes hunting and fishing with. asked me if i could get him some camo gear. his white friends would share their gear with him, but hes samoan and they ain't . now mind u my nephew ain't fat, pretty average but he's just bigger then his friends. i told that boy i better get my cut of salmon and caribou (i don't really like moose). got him 2 hoodies, jacket and 2 pants all cabela brand. shyt is expensive so i spent some time in the clearance cuz fukk msrp. spent $150 so im satisfied and he better be.

overall impressions: cabelas > bass pro. i never thought id step inside these type of stores but i did. i really loved cabelas. spent at least an hour in there. bass pro was just too intense for me and theming was over the top. the way they construct these stores is crazy. its damn near a theme park without rides. they realy go all out for these cacs. sometimes i wonder what an urban store of that caliber would be like

most definitely and totally understandable. I don't do none of that shyt that's why I never bothered. But I will for sure keep going to cabelas if I'm in the area as I was very impressed.

yeah I can see that. I just didn't like bass pro shop at all. It was like a right wing cac americans went dream. Cabelas was a lot more neutral and just felt more homey.

my nephew gave me 4 big ziplock bags of fresh cut caribou. I ate them shyts in 2 weeks all to myself. Said hes gonna try get some elk and blacktail deer. Cant wait

i use to when i was younger, a lot more fit and lived in hawaii. and im not talking about fishing with rods. i actually free dived in the pacific ocean with just a three prong spear and not the one with a trigger. i use to even go dead ass in the middle of the night when it was pitch black with my diving flash light and floater to carry all my fish. gang of sharks where out and about but they never fukked with me. only a eel once trying to get my fish in my floater so i killed that sucker and threw it in my floater and gave it to my neighbor as dude loved eating eels. i saw a tiger shark once but thank god my pops was with me. we was ready to take that fukker down. thank god it just went on by
