Be selective.

Sometimes I'll give 'em the :comeon: and let 'em know to chill cause theres kids around.

Other times, if you can tell you would be dealing with some straight ignant ass indiviudal, I just get my child outta the situation.

Some people just don't care and people love to be seen and heard no matter.

With that being said, you really can't say anything without ending up on World Star Hip-Hop.

So, your best bet is to um, walk away, I guess. =/

i don't have kids but it's funny because i had the same thing happen to me this past sunday. i was eating during with an old friend at this restaurant and she kept on saying "fukking" and looking around nervously while asking "are there any kids around?" it wasn't like she was trying to be vulgar, and i didn't find it offensive either, but i guess she was trying to be conscious of the other parents around. i feel like, if i have kids, more than likely they're probably going to hear me say it first anyways, so they'll learn about it soon enough. but, who knows for sure how i'll act when i have a kid. i'd probably change in some sense...

TS has the right idea. when you encounter “dirty” words in public you should react with violence. good plan.

My daughter is old enough to know the words she can and can not say but when she was younger when we was around people like that, I would just leave if I could. That worked 90% of the time. I remember one time this chick was cussing out her 3 kids like they was grown. I looked around at the other people standing around and everyone was shaking their head.
