TNA Wrestling To Film New Show(s) In 2013?

TNA has confirmed via the TNA Genesis 2013 VIP Package presser that the company is scheduled to film an all new show at the Impact Zone on Saturday January 12 2013 at 12:00PM and 6:00PM. The presser does not reveal the show name, merely saying but does request a studio audience for "TWO shows are being filmed this day. VIP Weekend holders gain early access to BOTH shows!" and "ALL NEW programming presented by TNA Wrestling". The notice is very vague and does not mention if both shows that day will be new programming.This most likely indicates that the show will contain some unique wrestling matches and not just a mere recap and talk segment like Xplosion has during half of their telecast.

- TNA will be taping a show of some kind in order to fill the spot vacated by their decision to drop the February PPV. The program will be taped o January 12th, the day before TNA Genesis. There is no word on where it will tape; at this point, Universal Studios in Orlando does not list any kind of TNA taping for that date.

The plan is to use a lot of X-Division stars, with the show intended to fill the void left by the slot for ther international PPV partners. Included in the current plans are an Ultimate X match, an X Division Escape match and a traditional TNA gauntlet match.

Throwing in Clash of the Champions like events in place of PPVs sounds good to me.
