TNA's announcement that Lockdown is being moved from April to March is a result of the company cutting back on the number of pay-per-views and breaking from the monthly-PPV format. The latest on this situation is that February's Against All Odds pay-per-view has been scratched, so TNA will have Genesis in January and then Lockdown in March.

It's believed that TNA will remove more pay-per-views from the calendar as well. No word on whether TNA reducing the frequency of their pay-per-views will result in a price increase for the remaining shows.

I like it, builds longer feuds that mean more.

So they are going with the old school ECW blueprint of having a ppv every other month. Honestly they only need: Lockdown, Slammiversary, Bound For Glory, Hard Justice, Victory Road and Destination X. Other ppvs can go in the bushes.

I miss them only having 5 ppv's a year. Then it went to 6 with WWF and WCW alternating, and that was alright(for 12 total). As soon as it got to 24 fukking ppv's a year I got the fukk out of that.

Throw in the 5 or so ECW had and :whew: that shyt added up.

WWE only needs Summer Slam, Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and one other9Maybe bring back King of the Ring, or keep TLC/Elimination chamber as one ppv). You already are greedy as fukk for something like 50 bucks for normal ones and 65 or something for Wrestlemania. Got that old school boxing ludicrous cost going on.

Dixie was pretty candid on her shoot about PPVs and I think she may have even mentioned cutting them. Probably wouldn't be the case if they were selling shows, but should benefit the quality of their product.

I think they will cut down on the free Orlando PPVs and run the others in outside venus.

Aren't you from Texas? Going to lockdown?

TNA is dropping September's No Surrender pay-per-view in according to Wrestling Observer. This move will allow a two month build up leading into TNA's biggest event of the year, Bound for Glory. Earlier today we reported Against All Odds would be removed as well.
