If so, the verbage they used in that article confused me. It kept saying where it's "filmed".

Yeah they went live back in May (the backstage skits are still obviously pre-taped/edited). Although they say "filmed" they don't mean "taped in advance" - will still be live at these new locations

I never watch TNA but maybe this is just the gamble they needed to make.
This can go two ways:
1. TNA fails and either folds or goes back to Universal

When they were at the Ricoh center a year or 2 ago they only got like 1000-1500 out of 9000+ seats filled, that shyt wouldn't be a good look. Most places they don't draw more than a 1000 for house shows
They need to just do small venues so that shyt looks packed. They're good at making the crowds look big on tv tho. I bet they'll make that Alamo dome crowd look good all in 1 area
