Great pick up 
Former WWE Superstar John Hennigan (formerly known as John Morrison) has just signed with GFW/ Impact Wrestling, as was revealed by Jeremy Borash, Joseph Park and Grado at a recent conference call with GFW. John Morrison was recently seen on El Rey network's Lucha Underground and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide as Johnny Mundo.
GFW announced that would be doing live events in the New York Tri-State Area between 4-6 August and that they've taken on some brand new talent including John Hennigan, Taya from AAA and Drago.
Morrison had left WWE in 2011 after a serious neck injury citing the need take a break to heal as well as creative frustrations with his position on the roster even though WWE wanted to renew his contract for three years. Since then, he has gone on to make a name on the Indie Circuit before joining AAA and Lucha Underground.
