For this dude to keep coming back from debilitating injury after debilitating injury is actually unbelievable.

We talk all the time about Lebron and his greatness in his longevity. But Kawhi overcoming these crippling injuries over and over again and working his way back to elite is also pure unadulterated greatness. Your average player would be done dealing with one of those injuries....yet Kawhi keeps persevering.

And nikkas say he doesn't love the game? He could have easily just bummed it, collected his checks and just retired....instead he rehabs with pure dedication and diligence.

Dude just might really be the Terminator:ohhh:

Exactly. You can’t tell me last night’s Kawhi isn’t top 3 in the L. Unstoppable shot maker and still an all around elite defender.

TOP 3 IN THE LEAGUE
AT MISSING GAMES.

THE GREATEST ABILITY
IS AVAILABILITY.

RESTING FOR MONTHS
YEAR AFTER YEAR
THEN HAVING FRESH LEGS
SHOULD HAVE HIM LOOKING
BETTER THAN MOST AT THIS
TIME OF THE YEAR.

I dont doubt that staying hurt and rehab aint fun. He does get respect for pushing through. And it is unfortunate he keeps getting hurt. But he is also being paid millions and he has access to the top medical people.

Part of the game is the war of attrition. The long season is part of the deal. Plenty of dudes would look great if they only had to play less than half the season (on average) and then you put em on a squad capable of making the playoffs despite that against a bunch of dudes that played all year.

So in short, you cant be mad at him for getting hurt but he doesn't get props for everything outside of him that allows him to show up at the end of the marathon looking all fresh for once.
