It's hard for me to get into The Wall for some reason. Post your favorite tracks, would you? I know I like comfortably numb off that album, but that's the only song that's caught me thus far.
The Wall does it for me because its a tight narrative about a man (rock star) who isolates himself from the world because of the traumatic events in his ife until he snaps and puts his conscience on trial until he realizes he's has to take responsibility for his own life.
The movie helps make it clearer.
For me, its:
The Thin Ice
Another Brick in the Wall Part. 1,2, & 3
Mother
Empty Spaces
Young Lust
One of My Turns
Don't Leave Me Now
Hey You
Nobody Home
Comfortably Numb
The Show Must Go On
In the Flesh
Run Like Hell
Waiting for the Worms
The Trial
-----------------------------------------
But to truly appreciate the album you have to go in order to fit the narrative.
Like I said, the film helps a lot to connect the dots.
Hope that helps.
