Gonna give you my top 10 all time based on the following:
1. Discography/ body of work ( at the end of the day its about your catalog period point blank, how great did you do it and for how long)
2. Longevity
3. Lyrics
4. Impact
5. Innovation
MY TOP 10
1. Nas
GOAT mc to me, 4 classics and another 4-5 GREAT albums. when you consider this longevity and peaks and albums hes the greatest to ever do it.
2. Jay-z
See Nas above just slightly lower catalogue of albums to me but right there
3. Pac
Top influence all time, eternal music, reached heights on some songs idk if have ever been reached before
4. Scarface
To be hes Ice Cube with a better catalog
5. Ghostface
Best catalog by far of any wu tang member, has 3 bonafide classics
6. Kendrick Lamar
Best catalog of any post 2010 rapper, never had a weak album
7. Kanye West
Should be higher, albums wise hes top 2 imo but obv doesnt write all his lyrics so yeah
8. Lupe Fiasco
Catalogue cant be argued, FnL The cool , tetso and youth, Drogus wave are 4 classics imo
9. Biggie
Too short of career but cant be argued either
10. Andre 3000
honnorable mentions: Eminem, Drake
Eminem should be here, he just made too much bullshyt music but I got him anywhere 8-11 to be honest.
Drake catalog should have him top 10 but doesn't write all his stuff and even tho he writes for others still gets the knock
