Tim McGraw character succumbed to gunshot wounds chasing bandits ten years after they arrived. Faith hill sent a letter to Harrison Ford to help them save the ranch. By the time Harrison Ford arrived, faith hill character frozed to death.

Out of the three children, only one made it to adulthood. He has a son of his own, brother in Africa.
