Ross seemed like he went in with the intent to try and outdo Jeezy and it didn't come out all that great...same problem I had with Drake first cd I have with Ross' new joint...the first 8 or so tracks have the same tempo/pace. Not much diversity on this cd until close to the end and by the time it's too late and the songs are bland. The highpoints are the features(Andre, Nas). Some songs are simply overproduced(MM4). Just too much going on with the beat and melodies in the break...some of his worst hooks are on this album as well...not a bad album at all, just a letdown for him

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Well, off first listen, it didn't blow me away like it did Teflon Don

And from what it seems; Albert Anesthesia and Rich Forever are sonically paramount to GFID.

A lot of y'all praise the production but this effort seems to be engulfed in mediocrity - sans the Justice League helmed tracks (c'mon... no Drumma, Lex, Kanye, Incredibles, Beat Billionaire, Olympiks, Runners... or even Bink!).

I'd go so far as to say both MMG Self Made volumes trump this one.

I'll give it some time before i rate it though. But so far? So sleepy.
