I alluded to it here: Kevin Nash vs The New Blood (Gauntlet Match) - Nitro 6/5/00

But since I have some time, I'll tell the full story:

Couple days out, I'm listening to Dogg Food, and "New York, New York" comes on. Now, given that I ghostwrote that track along with Kurupt, I knew all the words and I'm rapping along, and Russo being the mark that he is for anything involving the words "New York" stopped me and asked about the song. We listened to it and I told the story about how it was based on both a Freestyle session Kurupt had along with my performance in the 1994 Rumble where I was serving people left and right (one of the jobbers I eliminated in that rumble was bum-ass @Scott_Steiner). So being WCW in 2000, and Russo being Russo, he pitches me the idea of a gauntlet match where I run through members of the New Blood like Kurupt ran through random MC's. Now, I'm making serious money with Turner and have mentally checked out, but the idea of burying dozens of vanilla midgets at once was intriguing so I went with it. The only thing I couldn't finagle from Russo was winning the midget championship since Daffney (RIP) held that at the time.
