He's said in the past that the Stone Cold gimmick is pretty much 100% himself. If you watch his out of character stuff he says "And that's the bottom line" A LOT . Hell even in them ECW promos he was saying it.

When I heard that Goldberg got Punk'd, I fully expected him to fall hook, line, and sinker for it and turn it into a shoot:

*Goldberg comes out to see his expensive bike destroyed*
