Every huge rapper dumbs down their lyrics on certain songs. Specially singles. There's few rappers who haven't, Bone? Even Wu-tang dropped songs like Gravel pit.

"dumbing down lyrics" can also yield classic songs. A song like Big Poppa would
not be as nice if he came out on some Machinegun funk shyt. Dr Dre talking ignorant shyt on Chronic created one of the best albums ever and the list goes on.

Jay's dumb downed lyrics are still 1,000,000x better than anything these new dudes call rapping.

I wouldn't even call his shyt dumb downed, just more palatable for the non-hustler/hood folk.

nikkas rapping about panda's and bleached bootyholes now :scusthov:

Biggie is the GOAT but his natural style isn't super lyrical like Jay's was. Jay was metaphor/double meaning heavy. Biggie had slick lines but he was more about having words bounce off the next one and being straight forward.
