I couldn't really get a handle on the open beta (PS5).. there's too much going on for it to really sink in on a preview. I might play it if it's free but I might just stick to FFXIV. should be fun for people looking for a new MMO.

It's coo. I got up to lvl 23 without dying so far, but the mobs are definitely getting harder; especially the chapter boss fights. The main story is divided into like 10 chapters with various storylines. Weapons/skills upgrading system is deep. You can pick two main weapons, and are recommended to stick with those types for the entirety, as your skills are tied to the weapon type (greatsword, staff, bow, etc). Combat is a hybrid of auto attack and those 12 skills that are tied to your equipped weapons. Each skill has a cooldown period of a few dozen seconds. There's no in-game user market thus far, though it may not even be possible, since there's a warning that once you upgrade an item, it can't be traded.
