Why?

Well for one, we may have gotten something out of it. We had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Republicans overall would've been and would've possibly felt obligated to work/reach out to us out of the sheer possibility of being able to defeat Democrats indefinitely. Our vote would've guaranteed they stay in power for decades.

And Democrats would've saw that our vote actually mattered. They would no longer be able to neglect that 80% vote any longer. And even if we did vote for them in 2028 or sooner, at least we let them know we are at least capable of flipping.

Instead, we're basically put in a box. Every other demo is as a 50/50 or 60/40 split.

Republicans would've had 2 years to try and keep are vote. We can't keep doing the same shyt and expecting different results. Hell, we could take over the Green Party. At this point, we don't really get shyt anyway, yet Democrats still hassle us during election time. We need to break the cycle at some point.
