He wasn't a stat-padder that couldn't stop the run. Anchored that defense for years and has three rings to show for it. If he doesn't get in the HOF it will be a damn shame.

Strahan I can live with, but almost half of his career was in the 1990's. Granted, he did win a DOPTY in the 2000's, but Seymour had about four more seasons in the 2000's than Strahan.

No he didn't. Strahan played 8 seasons in the 2G's (2000 - 2007). Seymour played 9 seasons in the 2G's (2001-2009).
