For the life of me I cannot understand why people believe that the wealthy will distribute some of their wealth to the poor via jobs and other things.
NO ONE WANTS TO NOT BE WEALTHY. People dreeeeaaam of having so much money that most of the things they want in life are not really an issue or a matter of importance. If the wealth give some of theirs to the poor, they will be LESS WEALTHY.

True but to be fair, there are so many subtle differences between those multiple leftist ideologies (marxism, leninism, maoism, anarchism and so on) that we can be easy on him I think.
Us euros have experienced socialist and communist governments while a good part of US citizens believe Obama is a socialist off that healthcare reform alone... They don't even realize that politically speaking, Obama would fit in every european moderate right parties :hyena:

A fair society isn't one where people have their property forcibly stolen because some a$$hole think he/she knows what is best for the world.
if the government idiots knew what was best, then communism would have been the most successful system ever.
the poor are poor for a reason. the gap is widening because the poor people with brains and talent have been sucked out of the lower classes into the intellectual elites. All that is left are the cannon fodder in society. Capitalism did such a good organizing job labor efficiently. yet, social welfare keeps those, who would otherwise be dead or with less children, alive and happily reproducing.
