This possible Cody heel turn build...

I know most of y'all think they just trying to force feed Cody into to becoming a liked face again, which very well may be. But I think they are doing a slow burn, trying to earn some moderate amount of fan support back with these shytty "I built this company gimme my respect" promos, before turning heel for a more impactful effect.

My question is, if they do that, are you still going to care? Of course he would be better suited in a heel role given the fan reaction to him, but even heel Cody is still fukkin boring.

If they go this "Corporate Cody", you fans aren't deserving of the company I built, and I'ma keep blowing the whole budget on my entrance pyro, route, is it gonna make a difference in terms of us wanting him the fukk off tv, regardless?

I dont know exactly what they're doing, but I'm happy that it's not Cody coming out with a mean look on his face and cutting "IT WAS YOU PEOPLE THAT DID THIS!" promos every week. This is at least interesting. And the people booing him hard now would stop booing him as hard if he was trying that hard for heat.

Him and his wife are ruining segments because their face/heel dynamic is all fukked up.

Brandi gets attacked by PVZ who's in a heel stable but also the heel manager berates her and gets cheered for it.

Meanwhile, Cody is cutting meta promos trying each time to turn the crowd in his favor.

If they just turned both heel and gave him his world title shot by some heelish stip on a built up Dynamite this would probably all sort itself out. He shouldn't win of course.

Until then there's no way to guess what they're doing here. I don't think they even know.

Then they pull in all the nerds desperate for content, deliberately insulating themselves with fanatics who would like ANYBODY in their spot, so you'll end up arguing with somebody who watches Rhodes To The Top or A Shot of Brandi :/

I dont really keep up with AEW, but I don't think you need to do anything fancy to turn Cody heel. You can just send him out there.
