It all sounds the same.

It's the fault of American black men not taking full control over the one industry that belonged to us.Now hip hop has white executives calling the shots when it comes to which rappers get a deal and which rapper gets radio play.

Why did American black men fail to organize a way to control the hip hop industry and musical talents that come from our community? Radio stations should be playing the conscious music black Americans need to hear instead of the same old songs over and over again.

Will colonized black Americans take back the music?
