Shelton was on roll from 2004-2005. I remember rooting for him to win MITB.
I used to love Shelton. It’s a shame they never tried to mask his inability to talk.
They could have gave him a manager or something. They did it for Lashley’s non talking ass
Shelton still had an incredible career nonetheless. Despite what message boards and twitter crybabies claim, you don’t have to be a multi time world champion to have a hall of fame worthy career. Shelton a legend and was that nikka in his prime. While it would have been nice if he got a main event run, I don’t like the narrative that WWE dropped the ball with him because it implies that his career was a disappointment and that’s not the case. Far from it. He did his thing.
