This Movie Young Adult...

This movie was incredibly... ridiculously... pathetic.

I don't even know why I watched this shyt, but I've just been on a Netflix binge the last week or so and have maybe seen 25 random movies or some ridiculous shyt like that.

There was really no positive qualities to this film at all. And the main character (Charlize Theron) was beyond pathetic in it, to the point it actually went from being entertaining to interesting to downright uncomfortable.

And then they tried to ugly up Collette Wolfe too.

Anyway, just random ranting about a movie nobody gave a fukk about anyway.

It fukked with me because NOTHING positive really happened in the film. At all. All of it was pathetic and depressing.

Whoever wrote it must have been going through some shyt in life.

I saw this in theaters, I like black/dark humor, but most of this wasn't funny, felt very uneven and unfinished, odd movie.

Charlize's character is the ghostwriter of some formerly popular but now played the fukk out teen book, and spends the entire movie basically trying to 1, come up with inspiration to write another story (that no one would read) and 2, win back her ex boyfriend who has a FAMILY and is HAPPILY MARRIED.

she goes back to I think it was Minnesota (someone correct me if I'm wrong, been a while) where she grew up. Basically, she used to be the popular chick everyone wanted acceptance from in HS, but its YEARS later and everyone has moved on with life while she's still holding on to her glory days. She thinks she's the shyt, but everyone can clearly see that she's a mess.


Trust me bruh, its dumb depressing and uncomfortable to watch. There's a part in the film where she's causing a scene at the child of her ex-boyfriend's naming ceremony (or some weird shyt like that)...she's like trying to get him back... its just straight up hard to watch. I can't even explain it. If anyone contemplated FF that scene, I wouldn't even be surprised.

I tried to watch it last year and it didn't catch my attention. about 20 minutes in I switched it off and watched something else.

Then a couple of weeks ago, it was on TV again so I said f*ck it, ill watch it.

It was a weird movie, and boring as sh!t for the most part. I didn't like it.
