This is the second time Disney reveals too much in their Star Wars trailer.

They gave away damn near the entire plot

It makes me not want to even go see this flick.

And they teasing Darth Vader like they teased Kylo Ren and they teased Snoke but I highly doubt he gets a lot of run time.

A lot of people don't know. Casual fans don't know. These trailers are made mostly for prospective customers not the ones that are going to go no matter what.

I just hate that they're pandering and acting desperate when they don't really have to. The brand sells itself. All you have to do is put out a quality movie.

For the most part, studios put all of their efforts into trailers and marketing. The movie becomes an afterthought after the first few weeks.
