This is honestly a good question/observation post-election.

I was in the office last week and one of my co-workers who voted for Trump has been trying to get a rise out of me. I don't show any emotion about it. I simply say y'all won the popular vote, this is what America wants, Republicans will have the executive, legislative, and judiciary branch for the foreseeable future. Whatever happens during the next four years will be Trump and the Republicans fault. It is what it is with me.

They still hate the shyt that they hate in the same way that if Kamala won I still would have hated them nikkas regardless of the win. They definitely been getting their shyt off with these lil victory laps. The election was a referendum on "what the country wants" so it's only so much to even argue about at this point. Trans bathrooms and sanctuary cities lost and I see them throwing that in our face like we were on the wrong side of history with it. These nikkas whole life goal is to "own the libs" so they feeling themselves right now
I wouldn't even feed into it, just sit back and let the chips fall where they may. Try to position yourself for the potential outcome of a Trump presidency as best you can.

A lot of them were only gung ho about arguing and fighting against liberals, now that they’ve won all that’s left is accountability for what they do/voted for, that’s not nearly as fun.

The Trumptards who don’t have any real focused nefarious agenda and just wanted to be apart of something are having post nut clarity.

While many of us dread Trumps second term, there is zero we can do.

I also believe that a lot of leftist or liberal apathy as of late comes from the shock of America voting this man in a second time. There is only so much outrage one can display before they just say fukk it and go about their day. When you think about how much of the rights identity is based in pissing off everyone else it has to bother them that rather than super emotional outrage they are getting dubbed no contact status by family and friends.

We all know we gotta ride this train but its too little, too late for an outpouring of anguish. Mind you some of them folks are realizing some things they voted for won’t happen. Having their guy win is not enough like it was in 2016.
