It's a little ridiculous, especially Taye Digg's face getting sliced off.

I remember the movie was written off by a lot of folks as a Matrix clone because of the costumes and dystopian setting. I liked it though. General aesthetic and visual storytelling was great, and Christian Bale is always a W.

DOPE movie. I saw a lot more similarities between Matrix and DC than Matrix and Equilibrium. The whole "the world isn't real", "an external force is using humanity for its own purposes", and "a chosen one will ascend to godhood liberate humanity from its oppressors"
