The older I get the less patience I have for bullshyt. I have way more respect for a person who would say "I'm going through hard times financially, so I wanna have a rent party. I still want to have some fun with the little I have. Bring some food, you're welcome to join in"
Than someone trying to trap me into giving them money because they're too proud to admit they're struggling until you've already spent the gas money and time to get to what you thought was a laid back party. Manipulative, rat-like, low dignity behavior
