Its on Amazon prime, or if you got a firestick its free. A guy i work with in the military put me on to this. Its basically advanced intermittent fasting. Fasting for 20 hours and eating for 4.

Apparently this eating cycle is curing diabetes, and causing loss of bodyfat without necessarily having people change their diet. (Even though if you tracking macros with this it's like top tier)

I will say when i was doing IF, even years ago in 2011-2012, i felt amazing. And i didnt have a hard time staying lean. Just wanted to share:win:we gotta adapt with the times, even with this fitness shyt. Its not 2009, might be time to toss that 6 meals a day to the bushes:camby:

A fleeting childhood
That warrior diet ain’t for me. I rather not be restricted on my diet timing and have a snack here and there. It’s pretty much doing the same as IF just for a few extra hours. Whatever your meal time frame is, you gonna be full as fukk and end up lethargic. Imagine trying to eat 2300 calories without nutritionally lacking foods

We haven’t gotten to the point where blaming 6 meals a days is nonsense?

Of course if you restrict an eating window to 4 hours a day (which likely restricts cals) you are likely to lose weight

If it doesn’t work for you, that’s great. I’ve bulked and cut on the 18/6 fasting window.

I would track macros, and just eat them in my eating window and be full. These were nutrient rich foods.

I enjoy it bc now that I’m pretty much done bulking, I either maintain or cut. It’s easier for me to feel more full of limited calories in 1-2 meals. Now if you were bulking I could understand why you may not want to

It’s not so much about that. I’ve done IF for long periods. I just thinking blaming meal frequency as a stand alone is ridiculous.

You’re entitled to your opinion. On the documentary they had medical doctors perform clinical studies that supported their stance on meal frequency. I’m not an MD and have experienced positive results:manny:

If only one person benefits from the OP then I’m satisfied.

And what did those studies say?

There is a difference between something being beneficial relative to something else and It meaning the other is wrong.

If they have a study that shows that eating multiple meals over the course of the day is detrimental to health (on a reasonable diet) then I’ll gladly eat crow during an IF Fast

I'm seeing more and more people adopting this "fasting focused lifestyle" where they go on prolonged fasts drinking only water. I tried a 48 hour fast one time, and really the only hard part was sleeping that first night. I couldn't really get to sleep, but I wasn't hungry. I guess my body was used to always having some food in it when I would go to sleep. But the next day I made it through fine. Probably could have continued longer. It's amazing what the body is capable of when you break free of the comfort zone.

It works - and I think it works best for yo-yo dieters and those who have no type of eating schedule.

After taking a break - I'm back to omad - and due to the years of disordered eating.

It is the only way I can make sure eating the correct amounts and not over or under eating.

Last year and the beginning of this year I was eating 3-4x a day off and on - and I gained like 8lbs very easily.

And being short anything over my bmi is not a good look on me.

It took two months of eating omad to get back to my healthy, happy weight.

I was prediabetes even being at a weight in my BMI healthy range -- and exercising regularly. Going back to OMAD helped me get back to normal.
