Dumbing down his lyrics. On tracks like "I wish you would" he raps like Chief Keef, Wacka Flocka type rapper. I wanna hear the "Power" "Murder to Excellence" "All falls down" Kanye.

Power is boom bap (drums/percussion wise). The drums are straight lifted (sampled) like the old days.

Same with Runaway. Al of the Lights has more of a "jungle" sound. Like I said, most of the album is centred around east coast sensibilities. Even the producers he brought in to actually make beats (and not co-produce like Mike Dean) are East Coast legends. RZA, No ID, B!nk etc.


But this Hit-Boy sound. That Mercy joint. Theraflu. The Khaled/Ross song. That's cut from a different cloth.
