Having healthier lunch options was something I appreciated in my last year of school and then when I moved on to college.
I have to find the numbers, but this isn't even one of the burdensome arguments we see for rolling back regulations. I want say somewhere around 96% of schools were meeting the guidelines or earned waivers.
I would guess theres lobbyists and campaign donations involved.I've never understood their fascination with this issue.

Well, yeah, definitely. But Republicans have been deregulating the food industry for years.Nah, Trump just wants to mindlessly undo anything the Obamas did. His base gets off on that. Yeah, it's that petty.
Poor people who are fat, tired, and broken before they even get out of school are the easiests targets to keep on the perpetual teat of the grotesque service industry we've created. Far easier to get people addicted to McDonalds and cheap processed foods when you've pumped that through their systems since they're children.I've never understood their fascination with this issue.
Man I don’t know what the solution is, but too many kids are way too fat.
And I say that as a person who’s always been big myself, but looking at these kids now their arms and legs are like grown fat nikka sized at 8 years old. Noticed it at my sons Christmas recital, at least half of the kids up there were overweight. It seemed to be the girls more than the boys, and again as a lifelong big dude I felt bad for them. They are gonna have a lifelong struggle with all that fat they already have on their body at 8 years old.
As usual Trump is on the wrong side of doing what’s right for the people of this country.
